[Music] Hello everyone. Today, I will show you how students can use Canva to create a digital product in which they will reinvest their understanding. What's interesting about Canva is that you can get verified to obtain Canva for Education for free. School service centers can have their domain name verified for their whole staff all at once. Whether your students' final product is flexible or predetermined, Canva offers many reinvestment opportunities. The first thing you will do is go to canva.com and sign in with your professional email. I want to bring your attention to all the different templates that are already available in Canva. You have docs, whiteboards, presentations, social media content, and videos, which is very interesting because we don't have a lot of video creation platforms that are free to use for our students. Other options include print products and websites. If you click on "more," you will see all the different templates they have, such as book covers, mind maps, desktop wallpapers, infographics, magazine covers, posters, comic strips, and artistic CD covers. I'm sure you can already think of different ways your students could use these templates to reinvest the information they have understood from the text. Let's say I want to do a video, I can look at the video templates . So the student will have to choose one of the models here or start by creating a blank video. It works with all the different templates. Let's say I create a video from scratch. Once I'm in Canva, whatever the final product is, I always have these same options on this side: design options, elements, text, brand, uploads, draw, projects, and apps. I have different apps that I can add to Canva. Let's say I want to first put a title page. I can look at elements for different photos. Let's say my project is about Japan. I would write "Japan" to find a suitable image. Let’s put it in here. You also have many different edit options. You can see my image doesn't really fit the page, I can click on the image and select "edit image." I have different magic tools, and in this case, I'll use Magic Expand. Using AI, my picture will be completed to fit the format of the page. It's not perfect, but it creates the rest of my image to complete the page. This image will last, because this is a video, your product could be something else, but this is a 5 second shot. You can make it smaller or bigger just like so. Another option on the left-hand side , for any kind of production that you do, is the text option. If I want to add more text, I can add a text zone for basic text or choose from the available fonts. Some fonts allow you to change the color, while others don't. So you see this one is the interior that you're changing so I'll leave it like this right here. I could also go to "elements" to find videos if I wanted to include them. These videos can vary in length, such as 13 seconds or 25 seconds, which I could add to my design. Students can add their own pictures from their computers or record themselves for a voice-over. They can also use drawing tools if needed. Canva also offers Magic Media, which allows you to create pictures from words that you describe. For example, if I want a geisha in Tokyo, I can type that in, choose a style, and Canva will create four different pictures for me to add to my design. Remember, every time you use AI to create something, you need to be transparent about your use of artificial intelligence and include a logo to indicate that your picture was created with AI. Once the students are ready to share their production, they can click "Share" and add you as a collaborator or create a public view to send it back to you. Hopefully, this was useful. Thank you.
