[Music] Hello everyone. Today, I will show you how students can use Genially to create a digital product in which they will reinvest their understanding. What's interesting about Genially is that it works on all types of devices. Whether your students' final product is flexible or very guided, Genially offers many reinvestment opportunities. First, I will go to genial.ly and sign in or log in with my professional email. Once I'm in, you will see that Genially offers many different digital products in which students could potentially reinvest their understanding. I will click on "Create Genially" and start from a template. You have different types of templates: games and challenges, quizzes and forms, presentations, courses, infographics, videos, and digital publishing. I will, for this tutorial, click on "Infographics." What I like to do is first uncheck the premium templates because I don’t want to use premium templates. I only want to see the free templates, so that once I choose one, I know that I am allowed to use it. There are many different infographics right here. I will choose this one right here. I'll click on the template and then click on "Use Template." Whatever type of product your students choose, or you impose on them as a reinvestment task, the same options will be available on the left-hand side. I'll show you these options for this interactive recipe, but keep in mind that these options will be the same regardless of the product type you choose. First, you have the text option. Whether it is for adding a text box or changing the text already on the template, you will choose the text option. Here, let's say I want to change the interactive recipe text. I can change the font and the size, and I have all the options right here. I can also play with the order, such as placing my text behind the picture. The other options include images. If I look for an image, such as a sundae, I have images and GIFs available. Some images are from platforms like Pexels. If I wanted to add an animated GIF, I could do that as well. Next, there is the resource option, which includes different icons, shapes, connectors, and illustrations to make your infographic or digital product more interesting. I'll add an icon for this one, using the little planet icon. At the top, you always have more options once you've chosen either your text or image. For instance, for this icon, I could choose the color and decide that I want it to be red. Interactive elements are very interesting in Genially, and one of its advantages. Once you add a digital element, it can open either a window, a tooltip, a link, go to a page, or add audio. I'll demonstrate by using an interactive element already set as a tooltip. When clicked, it shows text over the icon. Let me delete that and add another interactive element. I'll click on my icon and add interactivity, choosing a window that opens. My window will look like this, and I can add what I want the students to see in the window. This is new content that only appears when clicking on the interactive element. I could add a picture or more text. I'll close this for now and go back to the page. When I click "Present," my interactive element will show the window with new content, allowing students to put more information into these windows. Teachers can also prepare the template with windows already set up for students to add their information. Back in edit mode, there are interactive questions that can be used in presentations. You can insert images, audio, or video from your computer, and change the background, such as setting it to gray. I hope this tutorial was helpful for you to use the different options in Genially when using a template to reinvest understanding. Thank you. [Music]
