Use your Participant Booklet to complete the activities in this module.
1. Set the learning intention of your activity and choose the appropriate tool.
2. Complete the tasks of your chosen tool to understand how to use it.
3. How would you use it in class? Give examples of activities you could adapt or moments you could integrate this tool.
Note: You can always complete more than one challenge. You will have access to all these resources as long as the online course is available.
Quizziz
1. Watch a video about Quizizz.
2. Read information about Quizziz.
3. Start creating a quiz.
- Create a Quizziz account or Sign in to your account if you already have one.
- There are two options suggested:
1. You can search for an existing quiz.
- If you choose to search for a quiz, you will be able to edit the quiz and change questions by clicking on Duplicate.
- Then, you can apply changes by clicking on the Edit button.
- It will be saved in your account and you can choose to make a copy and edit it again for a different intention.
- It is highly suggested that you verify each quiz before you decide to use it with students. Vocabulary can vary from country to country as this is an international tool.
2. You can create your own.
- Simply follow the instructions to add as many questions you might need.
- Use images and words in questions as well as in answers.
- Once you've create your quiz, select the quiz mode you want to use and set your questions and game settings.
- Live Game: Perfect for students to play together in class.
- Homework Game: Set a deadline and participants can play anywhere and any time before that date.
- Solo Game: Anyone can play any time.
Note: If you've set up a class with all participants, you will receive class and participant level reports for Live Game and Homework Game.
3. When you're ready, share the quiz code to students and ask them to answer the quiz with the join link: https://join.quizizz.com. You can also send them the link through an email or Google Classroom.
4. Create an activity you could use with your students and explain it in your Participant Booklet.
